Our mission is to help youth develop critical creative and life skills through exposure to the arts. To inspire them to maintain a positive academic focus through partnerships with schools in resource starved communities. We seek to train youth to use the arts as an entrepreneurial tool to generate income, creativity,and healing.

  • Admin Assistant


    Studio T Arts & Entertainment, a nonprofit youth empowerment & arts organization, seeks a detail-oriented, highly organized and community-minded individual to join our administrative team as Admin Assistant. Reporting to the Executive Director, this position offers growth potential and a wide variety of tasks. The Executive Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Executive Director. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and to working within an environment that is diverse, mission driven and ever changing. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations and will possess strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The Executive Assistant reports to the Executive Director. Primary duties:

    Provide administrative support to Executive Director including managing the calendar, scheduling meetings/appointments, overseeing correspondence, making travel arrangements, etc.

    Coordinate Executive Director's events with other program departments and staff

    Utilize Google Suite and Microsoft products to facilitate shared calendars, files and travel documents

    Perform filing, typing, data input and other clerical support for Executive and, occasionally, senior program staff

    Coordinate, book and account for, travel arrangements for the Executive and senior staff

    Prepare, edit and distribute letters, memos, reports and other departmental correspondence on time

    Schedule, prep for and attend staff meetings

    Daily mail sorting/delivery

    Arrange for flowers/gifts as requested

    “Clip” and file media stories related to the Organization

    Assist Executive Director and Board President in Board and Committee meeting preparation

    Ensure meeting announcements are distributed in advance to board and committees, per regulations & governing documents

    Distribute meeting minutes and materials for board and committee meetings

    Assist in other administrative tasks as needed

    GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ BENEFITS:

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week; Scheduled in 8 hour shifts over work week of Mon-Fri with occasional weekend event responsibilities

  • Accounting Clerk (Bookkeeper)

    Studio T Arts & Entertainment, a nonprofit youth empowerment & arts organization, seeks a detail-oriented, organized and community-minded individual to join our administrative team as an Accounting Clerk. Reporting to the Controller, this position offers growth potential and competitive compensation. The Accounting Clerk provides data entry to cloud-based accounting software and bookkeeping administrative support for entire organization. Works with Controller and others on STAE management team to assist with payables, daily receipts and payroll.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Enter Accounts Payable invoices into QuickBooks upon receipt, manage payment schedules and vendor information within QuickBooks and in Excel

    Split invoice entries in QuickBooks to allocate expenses to various departments, grants and projects

    Distribute digital documents to department heads for approval of invoices

    Review payroll and merchant account downloads to QuickBooks for accuracy and adjustment

    Answer A/P or reimbursement requests and questions from management or STA department heads

    Ensure underlying data in QuickBooks is complete for use in monthly financial reports and department A/P approval review forms.

    File papers and documents into appropriate Finance & HR files

    Prepare bi-weekly Accounts Payable statements for approval

    Assists with Time/Attendance reports, payroll processing and troubleshooting as necessary

    Deliver deposits to the bank as needed

    Assist with cash management for occasional fundraisers and/or events

    Follow up with vendors, regulatory agencies, etc. as needed by Controller

    Performs other duties as assigned

    GENERAL WORKING CONDITIONS/ BENEFITS:

    Job Type: Full-time, permanent

    Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week; Scheduled in 8 hour shifts over work week of Mon-Fri with occasional weekend event responsibilities

  • Instructor

    Teach the arts to youth throughout the community in Sacramento, Fresno, or San Diego in schools and/or at our Innovation Factory located in Sacramento.

    We're looking for dancers, photographers, videographers, DJs, beat producers, or visual artists who love to work with youth and their families.

    Responsibilities:

    Instruct assigned classes, submit accurate class report, submit weekly Roll Sheets and waivers to the Department Lead, Actively promote Studio T classes through social media, achieve a monthly goal of enrolling 1-3 new students, promote Studio T events and performances to maximize attendance, create a piece of work for your students to showcase for upcoming shows and events

  • Sales Manager

    As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for helping school districts across the country bring rich programs to students in the arts, media and entrepreneurship with Studio T Arts.

    Included in this responsibility is selling our online courses to public and private school districts in an assigned territory as well as individual consumers.

    The Inside Sales Representative’s role is to achieve company-designated sales targets, and as part of that prospect, qualify and build relationships with new customers, and retain and extend relationships with our existing client base in their assigned territory. The Inside Sales Representative must be proficient in qualifying leads, identifying decision makers, determining customer needs, presenting, and explaining the benefits of the Studio T offering, building strategic business plans, overcoming objections, and closing sales.

    The Inside Sales Representative will mainly use online product demonstration tools.

    Answering phone calls, sending emails, data entry, monthly newsletter, help clients fill out paperwork, post on community calendars and event pages, create handouts, etc.
